About FGS

Faisalabad Grammar School started in 1979, as an inspiration of Mrs. Razia Yousaf Saigol; the Guest of Honour was Begum D.C. Mrs. Waheed (and school started with Class 3 to Class 5, 30 pupils and 3 staff + 2 Ayahs and 1 Office worker). The aim was to produce a wide spectrum of subjects; for Matric, and CIE O Level Cambridge students – who would leave out of class 10 at the end of each year.

In 1982 was the inspection by British Council which allowed Faisalabad Grammar School a Cambridge O/A CIE number (both for Boys and Girls) as PK 205 and PK 206. By this year, Faisalabad Grammar School was permanently registered and recognized by Faisalabad District Education Department – [now school had risen to 420 pupils]. Junior, Middle and Senior Head Mistresses were employed.

The School (Faisalabad Grammar School) was able in 1985 to produce a promising batch of both Matric and O level students for examinations; which showed 100% results. Those pupils in School were happily involved in Film Shows, Laboratory use and also extra-curricular activities like Music Bands, Sports, Art Shows and Carnivals etc. as well as Quran Khawani and Prize Days.

The school now stands with almost 2500 students, 120 teaching staff and almost 45 other staff members. It very well-respected in the community as a school that plays its part for being Corporate Socially Responsible.
